I had the pleasure of being snowed in last winter at The Salt Box in Greenport. It’s an out of way, easy to get to, cozy destination that afforded me the peace and tranquility that I so needed. Had such a great time at the SaltBox! Loved that it was walking distance to so many activities. The kitchen was fully stocked and the charm of the house was just like it was pictured. Shoutout to the hosts for leaving an amazing welcome basket with gift cards to local shops, including a spot for my pup! Was grateful that the hosts were so prepared with a guidebook and information about the home because I was arriving late at night and had no issues. Home was just as pictured and the hot tub felt like an added bonus. Will definitely be staying here again when on the north fork.
We LOVED our stay at The Saltbox! The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful and we appreciated the extra effort they clearly took to make guests feel welcomed and enjoy the stay. The kitchen is amazing, the rooms are cozy, and the backyard is so peaceful (I loved hanging out in the hammock). We will definitely be staying here again!
